3   Link   Distance Knitting
I'd like to introduce myself; Fiona Morris. I have been knitting, designing and teaching knitting for many years. I started Distance Knitting to give knitters the opportunity to study the City and Guilds 7922 Certificate courses in Hand or Machine Knit Textiles as distance learning packages.

I teach the design and Craft courses at The Mohair Centre, near Lewes, E. Sussex, but for various reasons many interested knitters are unable to attend this course, so I have developed a distance learning version.

4   Link   The Girl from Auntie
The Girl from Auntie was an episode title from the classic 1960s British television series, The Avengers. This series chronicled the adventures of a pair of secret agents who routinely saved the country--and the world--from the machinations of diabolical masterminds. The first agent was the dashing (and occasionally roguish) John Steed (Patrick Macnee); his partner changed several times through the life of the original series. The third, and most famous, is Mrs. Emma Peel (Diana Rigg). This particular episode is from the fourth black & white season starring Macnee and Rigg.

About Me

I'm a teacher living in north Norfolk, who has recently re-discovered the joys of knitting! I also like reading and music. I spend far too much money buying lovely, hand-dyed yarn, and probably have enough sock wool stashed away to make an indecently large number of socks!

11   Link   Needle felting with Gretel Parker
Needle felting as opposed to wet felting, is something that I can still do - and hurrah for that! In fact it was a felting needle that opened the door into the whole felting world for me (hence the name of this blog).
